Looks like it is more difficult to manipulate the light switch when it all the way out past the FSB. And I would say that manipulating the switch will not be a pleasant thing when the FSB gets more than warm...

I think I would have to pass on that mount design.

I dont care for the type that mount to the front sight. Seems like it would require a reach to activate. That is a GREAT picture though of the rifle being fired w it on.

Extend your hand a bit and flick the switch. It's very easy to use. If you've fired so many rounds during a self defense situation that you've heated the FSB enough to burn when turning on the light, you're in very deep trouble and branding yourself is the least of your worries.

Contact PRGGodfather over at m4carbine.net. He runs Battlecomp Inc. I've seen him personally offer a solid money back guarantee to folks who are unhappy for any reason with the Midnight Mount. Go check out this thread http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=95251

Buy a Midnight Mount, go shoot your rifle with it installed and see for yourself

Daniel Defense, Troy, and Knights Armament are cream of the crop when it comes to rails. They all charge a premium and put out a very good product.

The Magpul handguards are a good bit cheaper, and work great as well.
