Hey guys, I bought CCI 209m primers by mistake. How much different are they from regular CCI 209 primers? If I can't use them to load normal target loads, what should I do with them?

Really depends on other factors too. Blackpowder? Shotshells? What kind of powder? It's possible you could use them in lieu of the non-magnum primers. If not, I can PM you my address. :)

Shotshell recipes must be used with the exact components listed so if you can't find load data using those primers don't use them in place of other primers.

I always use 209M primers for my inline black powder rifles. They increase the reliability to 100% even in very cold weather. I never had a problem with loose powder but sometimes i get a misfire with pellets if I'm not using a magnum 209 primer. (when it's very cold)

Loading 12 gauge Remington gun club shot shells with Hodgdon Clays powder and WAA wads. 1 1/8 oz loads of 7.5 shot. I can't ship them I'm guessing. So I either need to sell locally or get a load that will work. Any suggestions. I shoot sporting clays.

ArchAngel, you just solved my problem. I am going to buy a muzzle loader and now I have primers for it! Thanks!
