Figured it was about time to throw this out there again for anyone interested....

As an NRA recruiter, I can offer special discounted memberships. If anyone is interested in these discounts, send me a pm with your address. I'll mail you the application form and then you can mail it back to me.

The discounts are:

One year - $25 instead of $35
Three years - $70 instead of $85
Five years - $100 instead of $125
Life - $750 instead of $1000

You can also do the easy pay life membership which is $25 per quarter until $750 is paid off.

If you are interested, shoot me a pm here or an email to [email protected] and I'll drop the application in the mail to you.

I do not have access to the NRA $300 life membership deal that is floating around....sorry.

Can I add that there is also a Distinguished Life Membership for Disabled Veterans? The cost is $375.

I don't know if the OP has any part in that, but I just found out about during a phone call with NRA when I was upping my membership a couple of days ago. All you have to do is call and ask for it.

I don't know about others, but I don't really want a discounted membership. I'd rather slip them a little extra each time I re-up.

Does anyone know where the $300 lifetime membership deal can be found? I don't mind giving them money. I just don't want to have to worry about forgetting to sign up every year. They send out so many "reminders" it's hard to keep track with when I really need to sign back up.

It's good that more people join even if they can't easily afford the regular rates. I was actually a member for $10 a year for a long time back when I was broke. I didn't get the magazine or anything else except a membership card. It was better than nothing to them and me. They actually offered to sign me up for free just to have more names on their registry. So there is a place for discounted memberships. But if you can afford it I think it's good to give them the full rate or more if possible.

Ditto... These "discounted membership" offers have never made sense to me.
Discounted memberships are to pump up their membership numbers. It makes for a good statistic when they lobby. They can say "The NRA represents XXXX gun owners...."
