In my mailbox yesterday, I got a big envelope from NRA, containing a picture of Charlton Heston. The included letter stated that the NRA was using "Liberty Points" (or something like that, I'm at work and I wish I would have brought it with) for specific actions you take with the NRA, such as renewing your membership or giving them your e-mail address. With these "Liberty Points" you could get a discount on a membership, even a life membership for $240-$270 (once again, I don't have the specific number, but under $300). It actually seemed pretty do-able to reach the number needed for a discount on a life membership. A life membership, BTW, is $750. Anybody else get a letter like this? I do apologize for not having it in front of me, but the letter is a state away right now.
