Yesterday before the rain came, I went out and shot that TC Hawkins that I got for $90.00. I used the above mentioned bullets in .45 caliber 285 grain hollow points Hollow Base pure lead bullets lubed in SPG. I used 60 grns of Goex 3f BP, under a wonder wad. Using the bamboo shoots, with the bungee cord around them (tri-pod) and with a fairly accurate range finder set at 107 yards I was able to keep three rounds within a 3" bull with a 2" spread. Man that is an accurate load. In fact a good friend of mine gave me three boxes of the bullets (20 bullets to the box) about 10 years ago. I can't believe how easy they load. Problem is I went and got on there website and I'll be darned if I could find them. Anyone got any ideas where a fella misght find 'em? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank ya messerist, I just ordered a SXS muzzle loading shotgun from those folks at Dixie, I'll have to check, can't believe Buffalo Bullets don't list them.

messerist, I checked with Dixie, and the closest they come in the .45 is the ballett in 200 grain. I've only got 40 of 'em left, so I'm gonna have to go easy on 'em. Maybe a gun show or something. Yeh as soon as I get it, supposed to be here on the 30th. However it is in the kit form.

45 Buffalo Bullets

I'll look tonight and see but I think I have several 20rd boxes of them. I don't shoot a 45 anymore so if your interested we might work something out on them. I'll post back tonight and let you know
