Yup, them and the Southern Poverty Law Center (even their name makes assumptions about a certain portion of the Union)I am now convinced that the Brady Campaign is a hate group

Of course but it was FUNNYYou do realize it's a parody, right?
Agreed on the value of our beloved NRA, but only two of us badmouthed the NRA prior to your post on this thread so it's certainly not a reflection on each and every one of us. Further, it appears they did so to make a point about shoddy tactics or selective facts/perspectives (dare I say even sarcasm…oh no, not THAT). I would be confident in assuming that the vast majority of us are, in fact, NRA members and have been so for some time. IMHO, we who pay our NRA dues, are pro-2A active, etc. have every right to criticize if we feel like it (recall the 1A before the 2A...). It's those of us that do NOTHING who shall not garner respect. Some of you can slam the NRA to your satisfaction, but best you remember that less it (with ALL it's imperfections) we would look a hulluva lot more like England now than England does!
Hull no, it has it's warts, but truth be told if you don't like it then JOIN AND CHANGE IT!
To simply and continually bad mouth it and all those that are members in good faith is sad damned commentary on each and every one of YOU!
And yeah, I meant to add that you naysayers OUGHT to take a good look at what happened when the NRA was poised to cut and run to Whittington and Neil Knox and his crew literally took over and changed the direction of the organization..........THEY had the courage of their convictions..........how 'bout you?
What's wrong with the Southern Poverty Law Center? The Brady bunch are an Idiot group. The SPLC is another group of MOTHO'S

That's a bad guess, unless you're adding a spread to it... I did NOT vote for the President (either time) and I have complained on this forum on a few different threads about WLP's ability to effectively sell/protect/market the cause at hearings, on TV, etc. IMHO, broad brush strokes are bush league and ineffective, which is what the sarcastic NRA-critical posts were trying to convey, albeit ineffectively given the reactions. The Brady Campaign is truly anti-American. I'm guessing those who complain about the NRA on this thread voted for the President, and therefore have no credibility on a firearms forum.

If those who voted for Obama have no credibility on a firearms forum, which is a ridiculous statement, then those who voted for Romney don't either.
Well they did vote for anti gun presidential candidates.
+1 - we can't be one-issue voters. We live in a representative republic, not a pure democracy - we don't get to vote on each and every issue so you have to go with the least of evils (because they all make us , some just less than others). So what? One must agree with absolutely everything a candidate says before they can vote for him? Back in the real world...
Yep, and agree with the sarcasm. But what if you vote the pro-gun pol into office and he/she ruins the economy or enacts some other draconian garbage that takes away other rights?Yeah just because you vote for anti-gunners that doesn't make you anti gun.
NOT. Clearly the point is missed.Justify voting for a gun control advocate any way you like. You still supported one.
No, I voted for change. The point is you voted for a gun control advocate.
me too (same as yours)Sometimes I hate my last name lol
Because Liberals > Conservatives...How is voting for the incumbent voting for change?
