I turned a cinder block into dust with 10+1 of target 12 gauge shot. It was out of my 870 with a mag extender. pumping out 11 rounds at close range was cool, but even cooler was watching the cinder block breaking down into dust. convinced me that target loads can still do some damage.

A fun challenge a friend and i had was to take a small candle and light it on the burn then using our .22s we had to try to put out the candle without shooting the candle.

^ That is a good challenge that I can try with my 10/22.

the problem is to make sure the wind doesn't blow out the candle, so you would need to have some type of wind cover for the candle.

I'm a big fan of shooting produce. Potatoes, onions, and depending on the season, some fruits are cheap. They are cheap, reactive, and no clean up on account of critters.

Today I went to the fruit store and talked to the worker and asked if they had old produce and he gave me case of honeydews. Shortly after I was at the range opening them up with an sks,mini14 and my daughters had a 22 rifle. Lets just say it was super fun.
