My girlfriend and I are going with my buddy and his girlfriend up to his cabin in Maggie Valley, NC, and I want to bring my shotgun and a couple pistols to have some fun, but am wondering where we can go to shoot.
Obviously we don't want to trespass on private property, so I'm wondering what kind of public land you can access and shoot on. Someone once told me that you can shoot on BLM land, but how do I go about finding the BLM has land.
I just want to make sure that I'm in compliance with all laws, but really really want to have some fun with my shotgun shooting cabbage and such
outdoors!!!!
