I would argue you get one of the three with PSA, cheap. .

I don't see where their stuff is particularly cheaper than most others either.

I just got an Aimpoint Pro from Midway for $371 shipped...and it was at my house in 5 days.

I bought a lot of stuff from them in early 2012, but that was because in stock status was so hit or miss at every vendor at the time.

I had decent service from them., but they took longer than they should have to ship and all of the items I bought at retail prices were apparently OEM items....none of them came in retail packaging.

When it comes to shipping, PSA simply is terrible. They recently beefed up their customer service, but it's still slow.

HOWEVER -- I am 110% pleased with their prices and quality of their products. I have PSA uppers and lowers, and I am thrilled with their prices and quality. Order, and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait... Once you get it, grin from ear-to-ear and shoot the hell out of it.

Placed my first order with them yesterday (Aimpoint Pro and some 5.56). They were running one of their $49 off specials on the Aimpoint, but it only rang up at $39 off. Sent an email after I got the order confirmation, and had a response in less than 40 minutes indicating that they'd credit the $10.

So far, so good - we'll see when it ships (I'm not in a big rush) and when the credit comes through.
Update regarding my experience - the $10 credit was on my card the day after my order, and the order shipped yesterday (took 6 days to ship), and is scheduled to arrive Monday (11 days after ordering).

If you are wondering about the status of your order from PSA go to the Industry section on ARFCOM, you can send a pm straight to their rep. He/she will usually respond within 24 hours. I've used this feature and it works. Not trying to plug another website, but it may offer some folks here another avenue to resolve their issues.

I've had good luck with PSA. I've placed several orders with them, for lower parts, ammo, mags, & a bag. When they run sales, their prices are fantastic and simply cannot be beat. Their regular prices are OK, competitive but not worth the wait. Shipping times aren't great, but I've received my stuff in a reasonable amount of time.

I've used their lower build kits with great success. I've never tried one of their uppers or lowers. Their AR15 rifle bag is awesome. Basically it is a Voodoo Tactical bag with the PSA logo stitched on.

Well after 2 weeks I got my latest PSA order - a 16" upper, BCG & charging handle, and flip up sights. Unfortunately, its missing the charging handle . Guess I'll be waiting another week for their CS to fix. I still wont rule them out in the future, my other 2 orders have been spot on.

Follow up on this: Emailed their cust service about this, heard back in 24hrs, had a tracking number in 2 days, and delivered 3 days after that. As much as I didnt enjoy waiting the extra ~week to shoot my new toy, their CS handled the issue just fine, and with no questions asked. Good end to my situation, no company is perfect, they handled as well as I could have asked.

I've ordered from PSA a couple times, very happy with their prices and products, but I agree that their shipping times are horrible. I will say though that I've found several times in life that if you want to save money on a product, you may have to wait for it.

I have read about the slow shipping at PSA, yup that is correct, consequently I take that into consideration when ordering. After many thousands of dollars spent I can say that I have received excellent products at reasonable prices, the only questionable part was an upper that was listed as "blem" but was obviously assembled, fired and taken apart...thus used. Condition was 99% and I built a rifle using mostly used parts (clean out the parts drawer)...the upper works just fine.
Many folks like to bash businesses and many times have good reason however PSA has been a deciding factor in draining my savings account and will probably continue to do so while shipping items as slow as ever.

I get the feeling that many PSA "blemished" parts are exactly what you describe. I have PSA blem upper receivers that look cosmetically perfect on the exterior, but appear to have been assembled and taken apart.

I wonder if they are perhaps sold off of previously-assembled rifles from cancelled orders, demo units, or rifles that did not pass QA/QC for some other reason.

I'm not complaining, mind you - I've never had any problems from PSA blem receivers - they have all looked good and functioned perfectly.

As a side note, BCM often notes that their blem receivers come off of demo rifles.
