would someome need or want a double trigger for an AK? this is the first I've ever seen of a rifle like this... what is the deal?
$599 I want one because I want 1 of everything AK but not sure why someone would make one of these... a standard g2 trigger isn't that hard to pull you need 2 fingers to engage the bang switch...

Its a paintball trick. Use your two fingers alternating very quickly to mimic full auto. Its twice as fast as using one finger.

Something muscular or neurological is going on that makes it significantly faster than just 2x (and requires much less effort than using one finger). The paintballers who invented this trick call it "walking the trigger".

Meh, looks really stupid though. If i wanted faster semi-auto fire. Just get one of those triggers that fires a shot on pressing and then another when you release and the trigger resets. You basically get 2 shots per trigger pull. But since it's 1 shot for each distinct action (pull, then release) It's still non-NFA.

They just need to make those work with the factory selector so that you can switch between the dual mode and standard semi-auto and I'd have one on all my guns.

Even if you can "walk the trigger" at world record speeds you probably won't have much luck walking an AK trigger unless you 1.) possess Olympic weightlifter strength or 2.) modify the trigger to be dangerously light.

Paintball markers with walkable triggers have electronic boards with microswitches. The trigger trips the microswitch and causes the marker to activate a solenoid blah blah blah. Anyways, those microswitches have activation weights measured in GRAMS not pounds. You think a 2lb trigger pull is light, 2lbs is 32x heavier than a 28gram microswitch (which is actually heavy for most electronic paintball markers). I guess a 2lb AK double trigger might be walkable but I bet its not going to be full-auto kinda fast. I jut don't see any SAFE way to make a good walkable trigger on a real firearm. I certainly wouldn't want a trigger on my firearms to be as light as on my paintball markers, which can simply be pointed at the sky and fire if set right.
