FM M90 Argentine Hi Power, $400?

Probably not a bad price, perhaps just a bit high, but if really in "like new" condition, and sitting in your LGS, then probably not a bad price

Sounds like a decent price. Found two currently on Gunbroker; both are used (one looks really the worse for wear), with asking prices from $399 to $450. My brother has an older FM bought new years ago and while it is a solid well made gun the trigger pull on it is really very heavy and gritty. Not sure if they're all like that but it's something I would check out before making an offer on the gun.

Removing the mag disconnect does wonders for the triggers on BOTH the original and the copies

Fair price, especially for like new condition.
For about the same money you can get an FN made Israeli surplus HP on gunbroker from CDI Sales. Of course, it would not be like new.

Perhaps not OMG you won't believe this , but...if really ANIB w/ the blue cardboard box...maybe even the brass cleaning rod and manual , it certainly is more than fair . They are good solid traditional pistols with traditional Bump 'n Hump sights, nubbin' thumb safety and humped feedramp...

As far as Gary Cole's FN BHPs: Everyone should buy one, they're a very good deal...they were a great deal a year or so ago . But the best...IMHO that is, examples he has left are not the $400 pistols but the mostly '85 (PV) $460 - $490 MkIIs...which though excellent shooters, have been heavily used and are often less than artistically refinished. Don't get me wrong, they're great pistols, they've got the current ambi thumb safety, usable fixed sights and a hollowpoint friendly feedramp. Once thoroughly cleaned, lubed and shot to prove reliability...doesn't hurt to replace a few inexpensive springs either, they are hard to beat .....

I picked one up a few months ago for $300 with box and all. I'll pick up one of CDI's MK II's eventually.

Not a bad price, and they are pretty good guns. I bought an FM 90 a few years ago for my first high power and I love it. I have since customized it with Novak rear sights, Cylinder & Slide hammer and sear, and it is a great shooting pistol. I liked it so much I eventually went out and bought a real browning as well, but will not be getting rid of my FM anytime soon.

$400 is a good price. I had one many years ago and a friend talked me out of it. Wish I still had it as it is a fine pistol.

Sounds about right, and you don't see them in shops that often.

For $400 I would buy that FM.
I paid about $300 for a Hungarian clone and spent another hundred bucks replacing the hammer & sear and safety lever.
