Somewhat silly question, but would 50 gr 777 loaded in a Dragoon replica be equivalent powerwise to 60 gr bp, esentially making the Dragoon equal to the power of a replica Walker with 60 gr bp.
At the same time 50 grains of 3F Triple 7 is equivelent to 50 grns of 3F Olde Eynsford or Swiss BP. And these are quite similar in power to Hazards Pistol powder, one used during the Civil War.
And then Mike Beliveau's testing of T7 against standard Goex through 2 ROA's showed T7 was still head and shoulders above Goex despite the 15% reduction of powder. Maybe that is more accurate in a rifle vs a pistol?
