I have a Dan Wesson 357Max, that is built on the DW standardized Supermag frame, this is a huge chunk of steel, but lighter and slightly smaller than my Walker, the only thing I got that's bigger is a Thompson Contender with 14" bull barrel, and it still don't smoke like 55gr of holy black behind a round ball!:evil:

FPNI. That big 20 ga shotgun barrel looks like a battleship gun aimed at you.

The shootin iron was made by Palmetto in Brescia Italy. The hammer has a nose that slides from side to side to "select" fire. They were made to fire massive blank loads for starting festivals and salutes on holidays. The practice of firing these guns on Christmas eve as a salute to the Chist child's arrival has gone on for centuries.

Other single bore pistols, called Handboller have barrels up to 30mm in diameter and a rifle stocked short barrel model called a Schaftboller can be had in 50 mm models. But not to be outdone are the truely massive Trombini of San Bartolo in northern Italy. bore up to 2 inches and guns so massive they stand up by themselves on the butt stocks.

The DW Model 40-V8S doesn't hold a candle to the LeMat. 9 rds of .44 followed up with a shotgun blast.

alexander45. The Palmetto pistol pictured was sold in Europe, with a handfull brought to the US. The one in the pictures was for sale on the German equivalent of gunbroker. If it would not be for the shipping costs, some of the guns would be a good deal here.
