After looking all over for a reasonably priced carbide .45 acp die set I found them at the source. I ordered a set direct from RCBS for $69.99 plus tax with free shipping. Encouraged by that I headed to Lyman's site and ordered a decapping rod assembly.
Aside from the grips and the JQ prefix on the serial number how is it any different from a regular production run gun. The grips are easily changed & who cares what the serial number is.
Ranger Point Precision has a sight that is similar in appearance to the Skinner sight but imo is a much better sight.

I don't carry a 1911 anymore but when I did it was usually loaded with hollowpoints. It was carried with hardball on rare occasions when, for one reason or another, hollopoints couldn't be used. I never felt that I was inadequately armed.
The "guess" that you're refering to was just that, a supposition not an argument. Learn the difference. The original poster (TheProf) asked for and received enough information on the subject to make up his mind. My last post (#32) was an attempt to put our differences regarding guiderods aside...
XD sights are hard to drift. Call Springfield & tell tem about it & they'll probably send you a call tag to send it in. I had an XD-9 Tactical that shot way off & they took care of it with the shipping both ways on their nickle. It took about 10 days to get the gun back.
That's what they cost a the places where 99.9% of Glock owners get their parts. There's still smoke in the air until you post where you get yours for $11. My guess is your price plus shipping & GlockParts.com's price +$3 shipping will put the pretty close in total cost anyhow ...
Just as I though......blowing smoke. I wasn't asking for myself, I don't care....I don't use them. There are other's who might benefit from knowing where you buy them for that price.
