I've never needed a bullet puller. But that day will arrive.. so I figure if I own a *good* bullet puller, I'll never need it. lol.
I have a disability in my arms that makes the impact hammer action unbearable for me to do.
What do you think about the Frankford Arsenal Pile Driver Bullet Puller?
See the later posts in this thread.. now considering the Frankford Arsenal Pile Driver Bullet Puller..
I'd like to use a single stage press to pull pistol bullets with the grip-n-pull.. all the examples like this are done with rifle rounds.
I don't own a single stage press.. will a 9mm pistol...
Mike, thanks for a post with useful content instead these pointless one-line post. -- Yeah, I'll likely PM you.
I don't know why this Kahr CM9 is so successful on LSWCs. Note that I've only fed a few dozen rounds without issue, so I haven't really proven anything worthwhile, yet.
I've read a...
These were shot with a Kahr CM9, the factory 3.0" barrel with conventional rifling.
Remington .38 spcl 158gr LSWC (.358, but i downsize them for 9mm), I know no other specs.
The CM9 barrel is 3.0", I do not know anything more other than it's not match-grade.
I do prefer subsonic, but i have...
243winxb, that's interesting how that was published early this morning. -- ah well, i'm a day late or early.
Last night i did find that same recipe for unique, and others assumed the recipe for 158gr was dropped from Lyman because of the bullet seating depth.
rc, you provide good content, not just a post count.
jim, i was choosing 1.16" for a lower pressure safety buffer (if only in my mind). Can you elaborate on what you mean?
Alrighty,
I chose 3.1gr for my first 6 rounds. [ edit: thanks to jim and rc. ] I chose light crimp followed by a tighter crimp with each pair or bullets with lengths of 1.16" and 1.06".
Everything "felt" right, knowing that you can't really go by feel and the fact that i bullseyed each shot at...
i read it, rc. ..your first line can suggest you may have had access to info of multiple bullet types. -- sorry for any misunderstandings.
these LSWC are feeding great with each manual slingshot of the slide..
i appreciate the look-up in Lyman.
yeah, like i said, i use the free online guides from the manufactures, and the alliance site.
I really do get the response "read a reloading manual", like the thousands of times it printed as a response throughout THR reloading forum.
Whether I post the components or not, every one of these...
This OP is edited.
I was looking for measurement of Unique Powder for a 9mm case with 158gr bullet via PM.
Answers begin from RC (presently post #10).
Original Post:
Can you calculate a powder charge for me via PM? (Unique powder)
I'll provide my components via PM.
I'll be starting low...
I have a known low quality pistol, which I would like to improve reliability of case extraction prior to selling it. If I keep it I want it to be more reliable.
It's a Davis Industries P-380 with a new factory slide & extractor made for Cobra CA380.
It was reliably extracting with the...
Done.
As much as I try to believe in our government's decision-making committees that involve politicians.. it pains me to see email responses "deleted without being read".
Email clients can have rules to send certain subject lines straight to the email trash can.
get that DA fixed.. it's the only way to go.
this weekend, i out-shot a group of 20 men with my 1971 36.. i'm kinda natural with it.
they all had various quality semi autos and have been shooters for years.
what did you pay for yours?
but i'm looking for 4x8 or larger.. and hoping not as heavy as those horse mats so I can hang them.. but i've never felt the weight of ballistic rubber.
Yeah, I'll overlap by 6" and only fasten the top of the sheets -- like Linatex practices.
Owen, do you find the bounce from .22 or .38 to be dangerous?
appreciate the mining info.. i should have reasonable access, if i take time to call around enough.
if it takes me a while to get a 4ft wide belt, i can live with semi mud flap size unitil May. lol.
