These were shot with a Kahr CM9, the factory 3.0" barrel with conventional rifling.
Remington .38 spcl 158gr LSWC (.358, but i downsize them for 9mm), I know no other specs.
The CM9 barrel is 3.0", I do not know anything more other than it's not match-grade.
I do prefer subsonic, but i have thousands of these bullets & the Speer .38 spcl 158gr LSWCHP.
Just minutes ago, Power Pistol powder just arrived, which I ordered in mid-February.
I would also like to learn & verify any 9mm 158gr recipes with Power Pistol

Hi. From experience I've found the Kahr in 9mm (although a great gun) had feeding issues with LSWC loads that sailed through a Glock 17/19 etc.. That doesn't mean you can't work up a LSWC load with time and care though. The sport is meant to be fun and "experimental" just so long as we stay on the right side of safe :D

I've never used Power Pistol (I load mainly subsonics with VV N320 or sometimes with Titegroup) but an awful lot of shooters swear by it and there's a lot of info available on PP loads although it does seem (not from personal experience as I've said) to be a more mid range power powder and not at its best for "softer" loads. Is PF an issue for you?

PM me if you'd like a chat.

Best regards,

Mike.

Mike, thanks for a post with useful content instead these pointless one-line post. -- Yeah, I'll likely PM you.

I don't know why this Kahr CM9 is so successful on LSWCs. Note that I've only fed a few dozen rounds without issue, so I haven't really proven anything worthwhile, yet.
I've read a lot of doubts about Kahr, I am also a cynical person, if you can't tell. I was skeptical about this Kahr, but it's been a great pistol and keeps impressing me.
I'm really pleased with how Kahr competes with my Glock, XD, & M&P experiences.

I've not focused on PF, yet. I need to chrono this 158gr 9mm load.
I would like velocity to be between 850-1000 fps on a 3" barrel and ensure reliable feeding at 1.16".
Once I can determine the velocity, I hope to find the PF in an acceptable range...
I'm open to any guidance.

Wow - so much friendly help here <sarc> I guess all of those who "know about a subject" have never had to ask for help or advice from anyone. Got knowledge? Then why not share it. It doesn't cost anything.
