awesome. Thanks for the help. I have access to a gunsmith lathe anytime i want/need. And have somone that will do mill work for me. I had considered trying to build my own using the flint section off my traditions deerhunter, if i did it that way all i would need to do is swap between the...
Just as title says. I was wondering if anyone knows of a DIY flintlock shotgun kit? I thought it would be pretty neat to have one, and havn't had much luck finding much on the net. I could settle for percussion i guess, but I would love a flint.
The reason is I would kinda like to be able...
I'm in pa, so legally not allowed to hunt with a semi.. So it won't see any woods time. It will be for target use only. I'm not worred about doing some stock work, Infact i'll do just about anything to it (that my tools allow) I do have access to a lathe. But no mills.
I just wanted to...
Just looking what everyone has done to their 10/22's. A few guys at work have been shooting a rimfire shoot on friday nights and i've been thinking about tinkering with mine to see what i can get out of it, and maybe go try to beat them.

What is the largest caliber that your centerpoint from walmart has been used on? and how did it take it? Mostly interested in the 4-16 but will take info on any. Since it says its tested to a 416 I'm sure someone here put it on a big hammer just to try.
Not looking for a scope pissing match...
I am able to use electronic calls but i would like to try it the old school way. What are your "go to" calls, what do they do? and when do you use them? I want them to be simple to use as i'm not a caller by any means of anything lol.

This is my first time ever shooting a wby mag. I have fired a few rounds with a 300 h&h before but never a wby. It was a last minute order. All of the 180grs i was interested in when i ordered my scope and dies were sold out so i went with the 190's. My stock is touching the whole barrel lenght...
Just posting up my 4 shot group from today after i got the scope mounted on my 300wby vangaurd. It was a christmas present from my g/f that she gave me early for this years black bear season.:D These are my last 4 shots (190gr hornady) after shooting 12 shots prior to this group with the intial...
