My guess would be 5.56/.223. It seems that AR15 and other similar rifles shooters seem to shoot more rounds, and keep more on hand than many other CF rifle shooters.
I've never meet someone who buys 30WCF by the case.
I'm pretty sure the Russians don't even use the AKM any more.
It is an antiquated design, if inherently reliable, I don't think you have any push from anyone to switch to the Kalashnikov.
Thank you, I didn't know they did. I've seen uppers on their website, but i didn't know they sold stripped lowers.
Guess I learn something new every day!
Very true, as long as it is a virgin lower never having been built into a rifle before.
I was unaware that S&W sold stripped lowers from the factory, but it is very possible they do.
Erik do you have that registered as a SBR?
As far as I know S&W never made any ar15 pistols (but perhaps I am wrong), and just taking the stock off the buffer tube doesn't count.
I'm sorry if you already know this, but I thought i should point it out.
when I bought my Vinci, I talked to the Benelli rep that happened to be in the store, and he recommended that I run a couple boxes of 3" magnum loads through it right off the bat to help break in the inertia system.
If you cant find any buckshot. I would look for the largest shot size (smallest number) that you can find in a 2 3/4 shell. certainly better than nothing.
I've seen them with pistols as well as an ar15 on the show. So it seems like he wouldn't be in support of banning any "evil black rifles" but I don't know for sure.
