Its just blows me away the arrogance of individuals that have worked in government all their lives. They always believe they can "twist" the rules to push their personal agendas.
Legal types have come to believe there is always a way around the law. Its sad to me that "common sense" is a...
Well I am sure you know that fully automatic rifles have been outlawed since the 1920's but somehow they seem to make it into the country and into the hands of criminals. I suppose that in every large drug shippment coming into the US is a fully auto assualt rifle sent as a bonus.
Taking guns...
I think common sense dictates that if there is a gun pointed at your chest, yes you give them the money. I sure would rather do that than risk death. I don't care what gun I had in my pocket.
Reminds me of an incident a friend of mine experienced. He is a rough, tough, cowboy type. A crack...
Gee, which DMV office was that, I will have to cut out my address label in all my old gun magazines and then take them and dump them off as reading material at the DMV.
Are you sure you used your deodorant before you went to the DMV.
The back of that shirt says it all. Brave of him to wear it, I am surprised the liberals didn't start screaming at him in the bar. Or....an illegial stick a knife in his ribs.
Yep, thanks for participating in the Patriot Guards. I just joined up in Oregon and have not done my first ride yet, nor do I have the ID patch.
Its a great cause and I am looking forward to helping out.
I remember living in Los Angeles during the Rodney King riots. I did not have a permit, they were impossible to get at that time, I carried a full size 45 acp on the passenger seat of my car under a newspaper. Did it for a good two weeks. I was scared to death that my car would get attacked in...
When I travel in the Oregon backwoods I pack a 45 acp compact Kimber and usually put it in a belt holster under my jacket or shirt. This is a nylon holster that will not be affected by rain or sweat. Same with the extra mag, or two.
I stay out of the national parks since it is illegial to...
Sure is a lot of Oregon folks on this forum!
I think the basic concealed carry class assumes that you are quite familiar with firearms. The class presses the point that to pull that gun you are putting your future and your personal assets at risk so you better make sure its for the right...
Liberal socialist progressives! They have a different kind of America in mind for you! You can look across the ocean to see how it manifests itself after it dupes the peons into allowing it to obtain the power base it needs to then morph into full blown communism.
The constitution and the...
I have been a target shooter for over 45 years now. Never a big fan of hunting, that is my personal choice though. That being said I support your hunting rights 100%.
All gun owners must stick together and link arms to block the efforts of the anti-hunting and anti-gun rights groups.
It is interesting also that you rarely see discussion about semi-auto's. They always refer to them as automatic pistols or automatic assualt rifles. This is a "spin" designed to get the media to use the same terms and that way the public will be appalled and side with them.
Many people don't...
COMBAT HANDGUNS is an interesting publication especially if you are into self-defense, etc. Masad Ayoob's "Self-Defense and the Law" column is always pleasure to read.
My two favorites are American Rifleman and Combat Handguns. I do suscribe to Guns and Guns and Ammo also.
