Thanks guys! From time to time I do make them and put them on eBay. About 1 per month I guess. I really enjoy it and might crank up production to two or three per month!
:)
+1 on Chestnut Ridge. Great prices, fast shipping and the owner is a nice guy who's a blade enthusiast!
I bought these from him (but added grips I made myself).
Believe me, I own my fair share of dangerous things. But the best thing I learned is similar to this in my martial arts training.

I added these scales to the Becker Necker. Note that machine screws were used so they could be removable. An alternative would be mosaic pins or Corby rivets as you suggest. They would look more streamline but you couldn't change them out.
In Cocobolo :
And its big brother, the BK2!
Thanks for your service
I don't know too much about folders, I carry a Kershaw Blur and I've been very pleased with it.
From a fixed blade standpoint, I have two which stand out in my collection :
Becker BK2
And Scrapyard Dog Father. There is a shorter version, called Son of Dog Father...
I'm curious to know how the blades from Jantz compare in quality to some of the big name manufacturer's blades. For example, a $20 blade blank steel is roughly equivalent to a $60 kabar in terms of steel quality.
Certainly there are many many models, so I'm just looking for a rule of thumb...
PT1911,
I made the grips in my shop. I'm not a knife maker, just a guy who enjoys woodworking and wood on knives and firearms :)
Here are a few other things I made for people :
The Becker scales only :

I make a 5/32" filler for the inside of the skeleton in that triangular shape. One side is glued to one grip. Then the screws go through one grip, the filler, then the other grip.
Marathonman
I made the purple heart grips for a fellow on blade forum for his girlfriend. Black always get the wrong reaction from my non-knife daughters :)
My personal knife is this one :
and the Becker Necker (I made for someone) :
Hey Jim,
I like slot or Phillips so even with loctite if the come loose in the field it's easier to tighten.
Do you like Allen for the looks or function?
Thanks
Thought I'd show off my recent work! With the lack of availability of ammo, I'm spending more time in my shop than on the range!
Marathonman
I'd appreciate your feedback :

In the Korean People's Army, is the AK the standard issue? I guess we are talking about up to 5,800,000 of them.
According to Wikipedia :
North Korea is the most militarized country in the world today[3], having the fifth largest standing army in the world, at an estimated 1.1 million...
