sportsmans warehouse has a bunch of blackpowder stuff, it's located right outside of boise. As for a range I don't know, theres enough open space around here I don't think a lot of people bother with ranges
I guess i'm in the minority, I found the trigger too soft and "squishy" for me. I also had problems with the bullet jamming against the barrell and not feeding.
Otoh, it shot very well and was quite comfortable to ccw. I ended up getting rid of it in favor of a mak.
Mods please move this if necessary, I didn't think this belonged in general discussion. I just saw this in a local news story, so I cannot verify it. However the news was that jane fonda and her daughter are going to be going to iraq to protest this war. You woulda thought she had enough of this...
s&w 19-5 4" barrel. The cylinder is getting a little stiff from build-up, how do I go about removing the cylinder to clean and lube it? I know how top get the cylinder assembly off the frame, further than that I don't know.

picked up a blued 4" model 19-5 with adjsuttable sights today, $330.00 out the door. Overall it seems to eb in excellent condition, there si soem blueing wear around the end of the barrel and the cylinder but that seems normal. It came with a set of pachmeyer grips.
The serial number is...
I'll look into that, thanks. It just seemed odd that I would have that problem with only that brand of brass. Also I'm a terrible pack rat and would hate to have to get rid of the stuff
I just built up 100 round of 125 gr lead .38 special using a mix of winchester, r-p and IVI brass. I noticed that out of 50 rounds built with the IVI brass almost 30 bulged aroudn the bullet and would not feed into the revolver. I did not have this problem with any of the other brands. Is this...
okay so fish or burro canyon are the places to go then I take it. For handghun shooting which would be preferred? I drove out yesterday, nice drive but online map directions suck. For some reason they routed me though death valley
Anyways i'll be headed out to one of the two on...

On a related note, anybody know of any shooting ranges around monrovia, ca?
