Most of the new rifles coming out today have a monolithic upper and have a rail all the way across the top of the gun. While this is the preferred method to have a rail, it must be more costly to do it this way.
The question is, would you rather pay more for the monolithic rail or have a...
I like both and use both, however there are alot of tough plastic/steel magazines out there now. Standard aluminium mags stink because they get dented fairly easy making the follower stick. Honestly I can't imagine them being weaker than the best steel AK mags, at least with the PMAG, HK, or...
...out on the 500 is not easy, but at least Mossberg thought it out beforehand. Remington just didn't think anything through. The lifter pinches **** and plantlife because of its position. It does keep stuff out, but once stuff gets in there you have to cycle it sometimes. Someone needs to...
The Remington is nice; but there are a few detractors. The location of the action lock and the safety is a disappointment unless you are left handed. Both can be used with your right hand without moving it on the mossberg.
The remington's extractor is probably more durable than the...
For a while now I have been using my commander without serrations. It works ok when my hands are nice and dry but when the are not, I cannot rack the slide.
Would it be stupid to have the entire slide checkered or textured? Has this ever been done before? What kind of geometry or technique...

Here is the MAP from rock island armory. If you think CZ's warranty service is better than RIA, than you're fooling yourself. Nobody should automatically assume CZ is better, they may be the original but when it...
ive already asked the company, and it is a tangfolio witness. Go ahead and buy the rock island over the EAA, you'll be much happier, great cs and lifetime warranty. Id choose it over the cz too.
the only other way I can think of carrying it is the hammer down and the chamber empty. If I remember right, you must have the hammer back to rack the slide right?
In my opinion, not by a long shot because the extra money doesn't get you much more. If you're going to spend as much for a kk, build your own with stuff you want. The dw is a decent choice.
That appears to have the curved trigger guard. The one I saw had the newer curved-in guard on the 75B's. Got to admit though, I do like the curved better.
I was at the shop today and saw a really nice like new CZ 75. I thought it was a B model because of the trigger guard shape; however the slide appeared to have no B markings. Were there models released like these or is it an older slide placed on a newer frame? Is it even possible to do so?
I bet this has been brought up somewhere along the line at THR, but the other day I went to the store to buy ammunition in order to go to the range. I first asked for 357 to shoot out of my rifle; however, I was denied because it was considered only for handguns. After that, I was asked if the...
It wouldn't be wise to make the decision from what one owner has said. There is a reason why the majority of glock owners who own styers perfer the latter like myself. From what I can tell the steyr is made stronger and wiser, and they finally created a sight system that actually makes some...
Mr. Kassnar:
I have been lurking through this thread for awhile and after reading the conflict between you and justce, I have a few comments which I hope you may respond.
First of all, from what I'm assuming after what was posted, I believe that you're actions in that situation were absolutely...
