I've owned glocks and m&p's,both were reliable and accurate. I like both brands but the m&p has a better feel in my hand than a glock. The fn I've never owned or shot one, so I can't give an honest opinion either way.
The 10/22 is a good rifle (if you add enough parts to make it work as it should) My stepdad has owned his for 30+ years and its still working, but it very picky about what ammo it likes.I'm not saying they are bad guns their just not for me.My model 60 wont win any beauty contests but...
At the range saturday my father and I sighted his gun in at 2'' at 100. We then shot the 300yd range and he was hitting bullseye holding dead on center. I don't know if he was getting lucky or what but it happened 3 times in a row.
Ok, so of the thousands only 44 were repeatable consistantly. That does NOT mean those thousands of other malfunctions never happened, they did and will occur again. It's not a matter if you can repeat the faliure over and over, it's if it ever happened at all and it did otherwise so many people...
I had a glock 23 but, had to sell due to hard times, now I have an m&p .40 and couldn't be happier!! The grip on these pistols are just amazing, the most comfortable gun that I have ever handled.
I've been wanting to add a couple of new smiths to my small but growing collection. The first is a new model 36 (nickel plated) I think they are beautiful little guns. The second is a new model 360 m&p for a ccw. The 36 will be a casual shooter at best, and most likely will spend more time in the...
I've owned an m77 in .243 and currently own a very old m70 in .300wm. They were/still are great shooters and I wouldn't hesitate a second to purchase either one again.
I know this thread is for the 336 but, with my win 94 I can get 2'' groups with factory irons and ammo all day long. I've always heard that the 336 is more accurate than the 94so maybe you need to invest in some better sights or just try your luck again on a more calm day.
I have a cheap Thompson Center Black Diamond ($100.00) and it does great. I'm sure you can fing something of that sort for about the same $. Good luck and happy hunting!
The m&p feels better in my hand than the glock but thats all up to personal prefrence. Either way you go will be an excellent choice for what you want.
I say get one! I was recently going through this debate last fall and I ended up with a very nice model 70 in .300WM. Ammo is expensive as stated before but if you reload it's no worse than anything else. Recoil, is the biggest factor that should help you with your decision, you could have the...
mljdeckard, I understand you were just giving your opinion, but it sounded more insulting than anything. I would like to apologize to you for my childish comments.I was just wanting some helpful advice from all the great minds that gather here on THR.EVERYBODYS input is taken into account good or...
OK guys, first I am not a rookie to handguns, but by no means am I a pro either. This will be my first CARRY pistol, but not first ever, as I have a S&W model 10 on the night stand and a glock 21 thats used mostly at the range.I exclude .45 because my pockets aren't deep enough for two of them and I...
