I'll second several of the previous comments about .22lr AND revolver. One other consideration is to get a revolver that is capable of double action. One of the single action revolvers will be far less effective for you to learn with. :D
Then you preface the session with "Please hold any comments about instructors that are not here, or that you have had problems with, until after the class has completed. Anyone that can not do that, please leave - NOW."
Bad instructors are not your problem, unless they are teaching the same...
Ammunition Serialization
Ref: http://ammunitionaccountability.org/Legislation.htm
Proposed legislation to serialize ammunition.
I hear a lot of people whining about the proposals, lets DO something.
Actually ALL of us have the ability to at least hamper this stupid effort (the numbering...
You are kidding? Right?
Suppoprt yourself and a family doing RSO and Instructor? I'm lucky if a class I teach only costs me $25 or $30.
Make money? Well, I suppose you could go to work for LFI, Front Sight, etc. :uhoh:

- Am I the only one .....
- Who else has ......
- Best gun (movie/DVD)
- Help me ID this .....(and have NO pictures)
- Best 1911 for under $200
- What would you do ....
- OC vs CC
- Best flashlight (or anything)
- What was...

I guess I'm too much of a purist. I go to gun discussion boards to read about guns, NOT the warped, mis-informed (totally uninformed?) rantings of someone from Hollywood. Yet we see thread after thread about this movie or that TV program.
OH WELL.
I have been shooting...
This comes up at least once per month. SEARCH is your friend.
Most complaints are from people that do not own Kimbers or have called Kimber customer service and then proceed to tell Kimber how to do their job. :banghead:

What do you intend shooting with the .223?
It is not a large enough caliber for hunting deer, at least in Colorado.
As far as the tumble, think about a gyroscope. The bullet IS spinning rather rapidly (you do the calculations on how fast) and rest assured it DOES NOT instantly begin to...
