i have a one a pt from taurus its been great. I really love the trigger on it runs great i do reload which helps. but i really dont shoot it as much because of the brass i dont have much but its still a graet gun
for ccw or competition ? if for a daily carry i really like the 5.11 tactical belt the one with the metal buckel. I had it for about two years wear it every day and its still stiff
Jibjab there is a reason I load to max with this gun 1 I can handle it safely. 2 I am a big guy the grips fit my hands very nice 3 I can keep a pretty descent grip with 350/500grain loads

i always load to max with the 500 what is the point of a light load in a 500.
here is the highest psi i could find for the 500 though hodgdon

i found some at my local range thought it was kind of strange. i thought about maybe reloading the neck is quite stiff any idea what these were intened for ?

I crimp everything I reload weather it's a feeding or just to keep all my ammo on a even plain. I pick up alot of range brass and alot of the 223 I get the bullet just drops right though the case so I do a two stage decap/resize then it run it though a lee neck sizing die
