Remove the two screws on the side of the ram under the shell plate, lift the top plate off.

That's probable better than taking lower apart like I suggested. But those allen flat head screws on the (shell, no) Base plate are TIGHT, be careful not to slip off and mess the heads up.

Walkalong, That is what I meant to say. Don't know why I typed what I did.

A pattern perhaps, but epidemic? Seems like a spread of serial numbers is having a problem. Hornady should come up with a sheet of directions, or at least a PDF or something for LNL owners with this problem, as this definitely is more than an isolated incident. I would be curious as to the percentages. So far so good with mine. Maybe they should start machining the part out of better stuff.

As another update, I received my replacement drive hubs from hornady today. The latest batch has no discoloration, which leads me to believe they have the casting problem fixed.

I loaded a few rounds, and had one stick in the sizing die pretty bad, so I decided to use a bit of force to try and pull it out.

It held up well, if it had been like the old one it would have snapped for sure.

I have about 2 hours into the one I made. I'm just not set up to make them economically.

If I sold these i'd have to charge $100 for them just to cover my time.

If the new hornady bushings don't hold up i'll get some quotes to get a bunch made.

Hey mudd good job I been wanting to do something just like that I think if you made a few up you could sell them I take one
