Anyone know of a long range marksmanship course in the eastern US? I live in Georgia and want to go to a good class on long range shooting out to1000. I've found several reputable ones but they are all in the western part of the US. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Anyone have any recommendations on smoothing out the trigger on a AR15. I tried replacing the springs with lighter ones and it helped a lot, but, when I went to the range I had around 9 light strikes in one magazine. Should I polish all contact surfaces? Someone has to know! Thanks.

When I hiked on the at I always take my pocket knife, a small fixed blade and a small hatchet. Theyre all light and very good tools. Nothing was ever too hard for these three and in fact I rarely needed more than my pocket knife and if I did I used my little hatchet. I do know that gerber makes...
Im going to try to go coyote hunting soon. Any suggestions? Ive hunted deer, turkey, and squirrel all of my life but never coyote. Ive thought about using my ar15 or my 308 or maybe even both. What do you do with the yotes when you're done? Please share your tricks of the trade!
I live in an apartment alone. I always keep my 45 by the bed because of the better control, BUT I also keep my 12 gauge next to that in case the no gooder has friends.
When I am loading a batch, I trim all of the cases to the same length. All of a specific load that I make are trimmed at the same length, that way in the future all of my bullets are the same, no matter when they were made. If I fire and reload any of the brass, I check to make sure it is still...
Anyone ever tried this? I was in the mood to cross my powders and see how it would load in my 308 instead of only using it for my 223. Any good groups from anyone? Ive been using 165 grain SSTs with IMR 4895.
Oh I think I understand now! I was actually thinking of that the other day myself. The only problem I would see would be getting the angle to work so that it would work on neck walls that were different thicknesses.

I was wondering how to purposefully create a jam, without firing, on an ar15. I am getting deployed soon and want to train on weapon jams. Any ideas?

America is past ignorant. Most of the United States cant quote even a few words from the Constitution. I did a test a work once when I was a cashier. I asked almost everyone I saw that day how many stripes were on the flag and NO ONE new. It is really depressing.
I have that rifle and mine likes IMR4895 and hornady a max 168 grain or sst 165 grain. I use the sst as an all purpose bullet, its accurate and expands. Without really tweaking my load I can shoot 3/4 in at 150 meters. Good luck!
