I've never had a problem dry firing any weapon... except a muzzle loader 'cause dry firing those flattens the nipple.

I love my SKS. It belonged to my Grandad. I put a Druganov stock on it and it's a joy to shoot. I ended up losing the cleaning rod bayonette somewhere though. What you need now, are Stripper Clips. Keep the 10 shot mag box on it unless you plan to get a conversion kit for it to take AK mags...

The Germans actually made a 9mm modeled after the 1911. It's called a Radom. We had one for a long time before my dad sold it. I really liked it, but he didn't. I guess that was all that mattered, ehh ? But, it was a neat gun.

I'm gonna have to be unoriginal and say get the Kel-tec. They are very nice pistols, and very easy to conceal. In my opinion, it's one of the best self-defense guns you can get, because of it's size. .32 might look small, and people talk about it's stopping power... but you put some Gold Dots in...

I think that's a neat little gun. I would definitely carry one. You can carry a .22 LR effectively for self defense.... it doesn't take much to stop a fight, or kill someone.
