It might finally be time for a CZ 527...

I acquired a CZ 527 American in .223 about ten years ago and I love it...I have been "asset" challenged most of my 39 years of married life and guns just did not fit into the budget. I had more important things to with my assets. I received the CZ as an award and that made a difference in my...

How many do load development at the range?

I'm one of the lucky ones. My range is out the back door, across the pasture. Just have to make sure not to have any animals in there that day.

I found a neet device for depriming and resizing

My original model came back and brought back two sub models, 7, 4. We had two RCBS presses going. powder drop, priming and seating was done by the adults, the smallest model was handy for putting bullets on the cartridge pre press/crimp and putting the finished product in the boxes. The 7yr...

What do you consider your best load of all time?

My .223 CZ 527 Loves 25 gr. Varget under a 40 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip. Shoots better than I can hold it. My best is a 3 shot cloverleaf at 100 yds.

Just a quick question. I'm getting a new holster for my XDM. I need to know if XD and XDM specs are interchangeable. I guess the answer is probably posted somewhere but this is my favorite site, the only one I post on. So thanks Scott

Need some information on a Ruger 22/45 Target model pistol.

I have someone offering to sell me a Ruger 22/45 Target model pistol. Slightly used good condition according to the seller. He would like me to price it to him. I need to know: Is this a reliable pistol, not picky about ammo? Would it be a good pistol for wife, daughters...

    Bad shot

Hello, I'm a semi-active participant on these forums. I love the information and the things I can learn. I've been a rifle shooter for a long time, and have learned to reload and love that. My new adventure is an XDm 40 cal. I love the gun. I need help with one problem that is kind of...

    Re-loading issues with .223 v-max and varget

I love varget with my lighter bullets (40 gr.) when I went to 55 gr. I did best with H335.

The most accurate .223 load you have tried?

My CZ527 likes 40gr. nosler ballistic tips over 25 gr. Varget, LC brass, CCI Primers This will cloverleaf at 100yds. Maybe better, but I don't shoot "better". Scott

Are you: a Shooter who reloads, or a Reloader who shoots??

I started reloading to shoot. I then learned the difference in loads and when the first bullet went through the same hole on paper I may have become a reloader...I like the problem solving...eventhough I am just learning.....

    Do you weigh individual charges?

I weigh to set up my Uniflow and always at the start of a session and to check in-between, but rarely is there a variation...Check with a 505 Scott

    Got my load.

I posted a while back that I couldn't duplicate the preformance I get from a NBT in a V-Max both 40Gr.* The NBT shoots great (almost one-hole, good as I can shoot) with 25gr. Varget.* Today I tried again...Went back through the loads and found I had tried before by going by .2gr. Tried 25.1 with...
