I'm going to build a dedicated Varmint AR w/ a 20-inch barrel. I was wondering what kind of groupings I might be able to achieve w/ hand loads and say an E.R. Shaw, Wilson arms, RR or other manufacturers barrels. Should I go with a wylde camber and shoot heavier bullets or will 50 to 69 grain...
I noticed that at one of the online ammo shops they were selling Chinese steel core ammo. I was thinking about buying some just as a novelty item buy I not sure on their legality. Does anybody know where you might find info or if they are restricted in Texas?
Im looking for a fully adjustable schutzen style AR-15 stock like in the Anshcutz 1912 or 2313 stock. Does anybody know someone who makes them?
Im not talking about the Magpul PRS or the Command Arms Sniper Stock.
I have considerd an SKS but will they hold <3 moa. From what little I know about them it seems their quality/accuracy varies wildly from one rifle to the next.
Im looking for an inexpensive (<$500) rifle that will shoot cheap wolf hollow points as accurately or better than a 30-30 lever gun. It can be a bolt, semi-auto, or brake open action. Do any of you have any experience w/ any rifles like these?
Disassembling the upper from the lower is a simple process of pushing out 2 pins w/ ur hand and the bolt slides right out. You can see all the insides after this. The rifles was designed to be easily disassembled and it is necessary for cleaning. If you don’t know how to field strip an AR-15...
I’m not much of an expert but here's my 2c. Make sure it’s a chrome lined barrel (most are) or stainless. Separate the upper receiver from the lower and remove the bolt carrier assembly. While it is apart make sure the feed ramps are smooth and polished (the continuity of the ramp in the...
I have worked out what I want buy (16 midlength) but I I dont know much about what buffer to buy or what the differnce between flask supressers are. What is the difference between an A2, Smith vortex, and a YHM Phantom 5C2? What sort of buffer do I need for a short ACE SOCOM stock?
If you got the cash go for a .222 anschutz. They have models that are adjustable for any shooter. Any Olympic marksmen or shootzen fest shooter will tell you can’t go wrong with an Anny. Otherwise a CZ is more acurate than most production guns.
I shoot auto's better hands down. I have never seen a revover that could shoot .25 inch groups on olympic pistol comp at 50 meters (55 yards single handed unsuported). Hammerli, Fas, Paroini, and Walther GSP all the way.
howdy Boa2 this is a repost from TFL
Both are darn good but there may be better out there. I keep at least 2 cans of each.
