Does anyone know how much higher a rear sight M1 Carbine rail like this sits than the Ultimak? Or, if anyone has just the rear sight rail, could you measure the height from some point on the rifle?

You'll have to do something with the front sight for them to line up right. Also, the rear aperture will be hard to see through if it's that far in front of your face. So it'll take a little more work than that.

I'm using Aguila .30 Carbine. The spent casing is lodged parallel to the next round being loaded, as if it is pulled from the chamber, and then pushed up by the next round but never thrown out. It happened twice today, now that I think about it I should've taken a picture of it.
