We currently have 40 registered shooters. I am capping the match at 55 shooters. We have to start tearing down at 1:00PM and be off the range by 2:00 for the Cowboy Action shooters to use it.

Arizona Independence Day Action Rifle Match

All "Shoot" targets will have weapons painted on them; knife, pistol, uzi, AK. All "No-Shoot" targets will have open hands. Though the weapons are painted black, a hit there is still considered a hit, the weapons are not considered "hard cover" for the purposes of scoring.

Bill forces ALL states to accept CCW permits

The government powerful enough to make states recognize each others CCWs, is also powerful enough to ban CCW entirely. This is a states' rights issue. I don't want the citizens of California and New York telling me I can't carry in my state, anymore than I should tell them they have to...

    P6/P225 suitable for IPSC?

Power factor isn't an issue if you shoot accurately (A Zones). The main limitation with that gun will be capacity. Even if you shot in production or limited 10, you're still at a 2 round disadvantage over other guns. You'll have to reload every 4 targets rather than every 5.

Why so much focus on Defense style matches?

From The Army Marksmanship Unit's Action Shooting Team site: http://www.usaac.army.mil/amu/asindex.html ...I believe that sums up the question of "why it is more popular" quite nicely. Regardless of the sport, people want action. "Extreme Sports" of all kinds are becoming more popular.

Help me speak in favor of CCW in AZ schools Mon 2/18

The whole cops worrying who they need to shoot argument is really silly. With a 5-10 minute police response time, the chances for blue on blue are minimal. Either the active shooter will be dead, or the CCW guy will be dead by the time the cops get there.
