    Mossberg ATI marine top folder.

Several years back I replaced the pistol grip on my 500 Tac cruiser with an ATI top folder. I have to say I'm very happy with it. The option of stock control really opened up her capabilities. With the breacher muzzle and stock unfolded with a full five shot saddle under, it gets lots of...

    A gun in your face?

http://www.policestateusa.com/2013/innocent-citizens-held-at-gunpoint-in-terrifying-california-checkpoints/ This photo circulated on the net after some officers were shot by a gang member in Northern CA. I used this link only for the picture as the article and others like it (infowars) seem...

    New Taiwan Army Tac-gear. Thoughts?

Just saw this today. Taiwan showed off their new Tac gear and uniforms. An eclectic mix of arms too. I spotted some MP5 Navys, 870 Rems with breachers and what look like open-bolt MACs. The real attention getter seems to be the ballistic masks. Any thoughts as to their gear, practical...

Beretta 92/M9 in .45 acp. Would you buy one?

I've always wanted beretta to run a line of their classic 92 look in .45 acp They did it in .40, but only the Cougar style in .45. Even if it required a larger frame like glock 21/20. Just wondering if anyone else on here would like to see that.

    Seventrees reproductions?

I've been on the lookout for some time now for an original Seventrees holster (any model) Are there any close replicas or contemporary copies out there? I remember seeing their brochure years ago and some of Paris Theodore's stuff really looked one of a kind.

    C&R investments

What would be some of your picks or predictions for C&R firearms? More to the point, what do you think will hold the most value in the future? To be sure, I don't buy any guns with the intent to sell them. I do however, keep track of what all my past past purchases are going for as the years go...

    9mm barrels for CZ52s?

Now that Makarov is no longer offering them, anybody have the line on 9mm barrels for the CZ 52? (7.62X25 Tokarev) I've looked on eBay without any luck. Also, does anybody have any experience with this conversion? I know the stock Tok mags fit 9mm rounds, but I've read they can have feeding...

    Double Barrel 1911

Came across this last night and let me say, Wowsers! Arsenal has been developing the idea of a double barrel 1911, and it looks like they did it. Opinions? I think that it looks like something Robocop would carry! Talk about overkill...

    Old guns for CCW?

Anybody forego the newer hardware for something classic? WW2? Cold war? I ask because I've become quite partial to my '44 Beretta 1935. It's rugged, tight and extremely reliable. I've carried other relics in the past and thought I'd ask for some of your preferences.

    Handgun in car

Just a hypothetical here. Several states require a handgun be secured in the trunk while traveling. I was wondering if it would be okay to attach a firearm to the trunk side of a fold down 60/40 backseat. The gun would technically be in the trunk, yet wouldn't require a Chinese fire drill to...

In the market for a .25acp. Suggestions?

My next purchase will be a .25/6.35 pistol. The purpose is strictly to just have one and fill that caliber niche. I'm looking to get something a bit older, so Beretta instead of Taurus, and no younger than Jetfire generation. I've always wanted a 418 (original Bond gun) but they're getting...

    Multi-caliber revolver?

Was doing some reading recently on the discontinued Phillips & Rodgers Medusa revolver. I'm wondering why there aren't more guns like these. I know if a reputable company came out with a revolver that could shoot .357, 9mm, .380 acp, .38 super, .38 S&W, .38 special and almost 20 other rounds in...

    Best WWII bolt action rifle

I was going through some of my older pieces and noticed the differences and similarities in my WWII era bolt actions. Totally a matter of preference, but what bolt action rifle would you pick for service in that era? The many variations from that period all served the same purpose, yet have...

    Battle Rifles (SOCOM, HK91, M14)

I will be investing in a 7.62X51/.308 battle rifle soon. It will either be a socom, An HK91, or an M1A/M14. I'd like to hear some input on these particular three as these are what I've narrowed it down to. I left out FN as I'm not too partial to their looks. I really like the socom 's look...

    Help identify 9x25 Mauser ammo

I picked up an old box of 9x25 Mauser ammo. It's made by remington arms co. The box reads 9m/m Military Mauser, for side 1896 model autoloading pistols. Non-corrosive primed The bullets react to a magnet and have a LC96 stamp on the shells. Two questions: What might these be worth? If I...

    J.C. Higgins .22LR revolver

I've been on the lookout for an old JC Higgins 9 shot for my old man. He used to have one with a 6'' that was his EDC (old timers were more about aim than stopping power.) I know SEARS had a run of them through the 70s, but they seem scarce these days. Anybody have any history with this piece...

    Secret Agent Handgun

Completely a matter of taste (and endless fun debate) What is your ONE pick for a sidearm if you were (theoretically of course) a deep cover operative? All agents welcome, from Tuxedo wearing, Stoli sipping Bond, to Beer swilling Sam Axe in a dirty Hawaiian shirt!

    LWC conversion barrels for Glock

I'm considering a Lone Wolf kit for my Glock 21. I'm thinking 10mm with a 6'' and thread so I can add on a long slide later. Anybody have any experience with these? They now have barrels in .40 super, 9x23 and .400 corbon. Those seem like harder to find specialty calibers, whereas 10mm can be...

    SOG weapons (your picks)

I recently read about how SOG units doing black ops missions in Viet Nam, Laos and Cambodia were free to choose non-standard issue weapons and gear to go with them into the bush. Which weapons would you, (or for the guys that were there did you) bring with you into jungle combat? Let's make the...
