I'm considering a Lone Wolf kit for my Glock 21. I'm thinking 10mm with a 6'' and thread so I can add on a long slide later. Anybody have any experience with these? They now have barrels in .40 super, 9x23 and .400 corbon. Those seem like harder to find specialty calibers, whereas 10mm can be found easily in many different configurations. Will a new spring be necessary? Anybody with experience with these or other conversions for Glock, all input and especially pictures are welcome.

My .40-to-9mm threaded conversion barrel runs fantastically, and the threads are nicely machined. I just wish I paid extra to have that stupid, cartoon-ish Lone Wolf logo not appear on the top of the barrel, haha.

The fit on mine was pretty tight. It functioned 100% from the beginning, but it took awhile for the accuracy to catch up. 100% satisfied. I got mine from CTD, IIRC. It was 10% cheaper than buying from LWD, directly.

If you rub the barrel hood against a stone to remove the laser-burnt protruding edges, the logo is much less annoying. The tip of the wolf's cartoon ears even put a couple tiny scratches on my Glock slide before I did this.

LWD barrels are nice value product. I've owned 4. Good barrels for the money.

I own one for a G22 but haven't tried it out yet. I got a good deal, used. I've been trying to work up the gumption to get a 40/9 conversion barrel for my G23 but I have a hard time paying EXTRA for them not to put the stupid logo on.

The 40-9 LW conversion worked so well for me in my G27 I bought a Gen3 26. About two weeks ago I sold the barrel for 75% of what I had in it and the new owner is pleased with it also.

My experience is totally positive. I did not change the extractor; I did buy G26 magazines. The barrel functioned flawlessly through approximately 300 rounds of all sorts of my hand crafted ammunition: my own cast, plated bullets and premium JHP.

I have five other LW barrels (G19, G20, G23, G30, 357 Sig for the G23 and G27) and functioning for them all has been flawless.

At first I didn't care for the LW logo, but I looked around and all our vehicles are branded with a logo as are pretty much every electronic device and appliance we own. I use the barrel's logo like I use a loaded chamber indicator; helps me be aware of what's going on.
