Hi All,
Trying to start a project this weekend of refinishing the wood furniture on my WASR 10 AK 47. I have been able to remove the butt stock and upper foregrip, but I am at a loss on the lower foregrip. I have watched numerous youtube videos on how to remove this, but there seems to be an...
In addition to guns, I have another high priced hobby..... tattoos. I have one that i am particularly proud of...
Anyone else have any ink that shows off your passion for the 2nd amendment?
My MP 15-22 came with one 30rd mag. I know there is a 10 round mag available from S&W but I am wondering if there is another smaller capacity mag that will work in the 15-22 that might be a little cheaper than the S&W one. I'm only looking for the lesser capacity because it's difficult to shoot...
jhnrckr, I ended up picking it up from Gat. $499 for the gun, 2 mags, and a bayonet. Haven't shot it yet, but all of the initial signs of WASR quality (canted sight, loose mags, etc.) are all good. Looks like I got a good one.
So I made a thread on here last week debating if I should trade my Ruger GP100 for a used WASR that was a little iffy....
Well, lady luck rolled my way, and I ended up getting a $550 cash offer from someones else for my Ruger. I made the sale on Saturday and went straight to my local gun shop...
Thanks everyone for all the great advice.
I have another wrench to throw into my situation now. I have another person who is offering me $525 for the revolver. That is enough to turn around and go buy a brand new WASR at my local gun shop. That being said.... which is the better option? the...
RobGR would you mind posting a couple of links for surplus wood furniture for these AKs? for some reason I am only finding $100+ brand new furniture sets online.
Haha, Gat guns is actually the place that offered me $300 for the GP. Gat has WASR's fpr $525 and that is the cheapest I have found them in IL. Im really leaning towards the trade for the AK that I am being offered. I prefer all wood furniture though. Anyone no the cheapest place to get a wood...
Thanks,
Im in IL so most new gun prices are a lot higher here. and the best offer I have gotten for a trade in on the GP100 is $300. The absolute cheapest new WASR I have found is $525. Is there any positive or negatives of one from 1986 vs brand new?
OK first let's get all of the n00b bashing out of the way...
Once that is complete, I would appreciate your opinions, advice, or comments.
Up until now I have pretty much been strictly a handgun guy, but I would like to get into rifles. I have always been a fan of AK's and am currently...
