Hi I was in my local shop and the gal behind the counter knows I have a soft spot for 1911s so she pulls out a used Springfield 1911 with a matte finish the only twist is that its a 9MM. Do any of you own a 1911 9mm ?? If so how does it shoot?? Do you like it.:)

I just recently acquired a Chiefs Special 36 .It has a square butt . I have compared this to a round butt J frame and the Square butt grip frame is longer is that a common thing with J frame square butts or did S&W change their grip frame design???? I think it is going to be hard to find grips...
