I *need* a howdah pistol... I can only find Pedersoli's over here in the UK and they are a 'tad' expensive... at round £600 ($1000) :(

    street armor

I think this might be what you are looking for. http://www.bladerunner.tv/ Aimed at nightclub security and LEO's here in the U.K. It's expensive and having handled some of their stuff at various shows, it's not too heavy, but if you want it, it's there. As mentioned above, I'd get a...

    Ever heard of Tops Knives?

What BCCL says, the sheaths suck, I'm also not that keen on the grinds. But fit and finish is very good.

    Chute knife options

I've not got any of his work but I've been admiring Ian Bailey's stuff. http://irbailey.co.uk There is an example of his chute knife here: http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?128567-Chute-Knife

    The inexpensive valuable knife list.

My Budget performers include: -Tramontina machete -Svord peasant (in day-glow Orange) -Opinel No:6 -Gerber Gator and for $25, my EDC is a Boker Subcom or punching out slightly higher at $29 a Boker Trance, both highly recommended. But my favourite in that price range is a Rough Rider...

    Speed loader tubes?

arcticap, That's what I was looking for, now lets see if they ship to the UK. I have rolled my own, but I've not found a good enough way of transporting them to the range without them "leaking" enroute.

    Speed loader tubes?

I've been looking for an alternative to the rubber loading tubes offered by Dixie gun works as they are constantly out of stock. Something to hold a ball/bullet and powder charge for my ROA so I don't have to faff around with powder flasks. Thoughts anyone?

    Uberti Cattleman buntline scope rail.

Has anyone come a cross a rail or mount that would fit the Uberti buntline, I got one in .357 but it came with the rear sight missing.I've found a source for a replacement sight but a rail would suit my dodgy eyes much better. Thanks Boom-stick

    Rambo Knives!!

From what I understand from reading up about it, the dummy .45acp round is there to prove that the mag also holds one spare round of ammo, I also believe the knife handle will also hold a "normal" loaded 1911 magazine if the survival kit one is removed.

    Rambo Knives!!

Anyone any experience with the United Cutlery line of film replicas? As a set they seem like they would make nice wall hangers but hollow handled survival knives are massively frowned on over here, especially by the Bushcraft community, just wondering how these might hold up to any actual...

Anyone on here actually own a Mateba Autorevolver

I've got .44 carbine version that been chopped down into a pistol to get round UK legalites (we have some dumb laws). Yes parts are a problem, but they are just peices of metal and nothing a competent gunsmith shouldn't be able to fix. Currently working on some loads but not sure how far to...

    Fighting gun?

Or Great Britain? And as for BP fighting guns, I'd probably prefer a couple of Howdah pistols with a suitable buck and ball load.

    2000ftlbs of M.E. from .44mag, possible?

Thanks ArchAngel, for the great link. Ordered in some H110, now trying to get some 180grn heads, they are HARD to find over here, most places only actually stock 200 and 240's, they might list everything under the sun but what they've actually got in the shop is a different matter....:scrutiny:

    2000ftlbs of M.E. from .44mag, possible?

I was doing some reading last night and it struck me that 180grn XTP's might be the way to go, a heavy load of H110 should give 2200fps but I don't have a ballistic calculator to work out the ft/lbs? I think if can at least find some published data giving the figures I need then that should...

    2000ftlbs of M.E. from .44mag, possible?

Thank you for all the helps guys. The "rifle" is a Mateba revolving carbine. I was looking at trying H110 with a 200 -210 grn bullet and see how it works? Although 300grn slugs would be my prefered ammo, just trying to keep it legal without buying yet another gun.... All the local...

    2000ftlbs of M.E. from .44mag, possible?

Looking for a way to stoke up my .44mag carbine (12" barrel) to "deer legal" levels for hunting in the UK. Minimum legal requirement is around 1700-1750ftlbs with over 1800ftlbs being a better option and 2000ftlbs clearly legal. I've seen a load comprising of H110 and a 210grn jackets...
