Question for those familiar with Red Dot

I shoot IDPA with 9mm, 124g Xtreme, 3.2g Red Dot. Fairly soft, and accurate. With my Lee Classic Turret press, it meters inconsistently. Great for twenty rounds or so, but then it will drop a 2.0g instead of 3.2. So, I hand weigh every round for IDPA. I gotta say that the problem is my metering...

    Anyone Loading For Sig 938?

Thanks for the info. I have Red Dot and Titegroup. I use X-Treme 124g RN for IDPA in a G19, and they run well. I'll order some lighter bullets and try them in the 938. Only shot 20 rounds, so far. 10 Blazer (snappy) and ten 3.2g Red Dot (less snappy but one FTF). I'm sure it will run better...

    Anyone Loading For Sig 938?

Looking for a light load that my wife will enjoy practicing with. She will use factory defense ammo for CC. Looking for loads that will cycle , but are easier for her range time.

    Lee Classic Turret Press decapping

I just added the Universal Decapper to my 9mm Luger turret. Like others have said, remove the advancing rod and decap those .45's all day. Just buy the decapper, if you don't have one.

    Mobile, AL

Thanks, Will. I checked out a couple of places. Rifle powder, yes. Pistol powder, no. I like checking out other gun stores, anyway, so it's all good.

I'll be in Mobile on Monday. Can anyone recommend where I might try to find some pistol powder in stock? Thanks.

    Question about X-Treme Bullets

I'm having lots of fun with these bullets, using 12 grains of IMR 4227. Very light loads, but accurate and cheap in my Marlin 336. Try them!

lee 3 die vs 4 die set

To the OP, I was a noob one year ago, and I wondered if I should buy a single stage press or a turret. Some old school guys suggest learning on a single stage, but some recommended the Lee Classic Turret. Wasn't sure what to do. I bought the LCT and the accessories (powder measure, primer feed)...

    Who uses LEE?

Jebova, any chance you could post a pic of your primer "holder bracket" fix? Mine is sticking on the down stroke (handle going up, after primer has been placed into the cup), and sometimes jams against the shell holder as it fails to rotate into position. I thought the problem might be...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

I just loaded 300 rounds of 9mm today. The cabinets on the sides are great for storing powder, books, or whatever, and they are lockable. There is a storage rack on the bottom, too. The whole thing is very sturdy. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I had planned on anchoring the back of the...

Stainless Steel Tumbling Still Have Black Residue In Primer Pocket

I us the same setup. Also, I see some primer pockets that have a residue remaining. Some calibers, like 30.06, end up with spotless primer pockets, but some of the pistol calibers don't always end up spotless. You know what? It doesn't seem to have any impact on accuracy. I believe that the...

An option for those who do not want build their own. I bought this at Costco. It is on wheels, but it is absolutely stable. No movement during reloading. It has locking cabinets, lots of storage, and a nice, thick, oak working surface. Assembly was straight forward, and no parts were missing.

May be helpful, light charge weights with Lee adjustable auto disc.

I had the same experience. The disk has slots that allow installation two ways. One way with an offset at the mouth of the hopper and the other with the mouth lined up centered over the hole in the disk. I missed this during setup, but now I know that the disk hole must be lined up with the...

Decently priced FMJ or plated 9x18 MAK bullets?

I have loaded Missouri Bullets Mak leads with 3.2 grains of Red Dot and 3.5 grains of Bulleye. In my East German Mak and Polish P64, the 93g LRN is as accurate as Russian FMJ. I was worried about leading, but I have not seen much, if any, problem. There is one problem, though. My P64 ejects...
