    Rifled "cannons"

I did not discover this until a visit to the city park in Denver. There they have a rifled muzzle loading "cannon". I have always assumed all such guns were smooth bore. I do not recall the exact bore diameter but it seemed to be about 8 inches or so. Does anyone have any information on how...

    Bad Shots

I don't where to post this comment/question but I will try it here. Why are cops such poor shots? I understand that they are shooting in high stress situations but don't they train for this? An absurd number of shots will be fired, sometimes by more than one cop, and only one or two shots will...

Grips for an 1858 new army

    Muzzle loading patches

Who manfactures punches that can be used to cut patches from patch fabric? I need patches for my .36 rifle but the cost for such is absurd per 100 patches.

Will pistol primers work in rifle brass reloading

I have only a limited supply of small rifle primers but a plentiful supply of small pistol primers. Would there be any real objection to using the pistol primers for reloading .223 Remington ammunition?

    Colored Smoke

Does any one have a good method of producing colored smoke? The reason I ask is that the Boy Scout camp my son attends hosts an event called RAMS Rifle, Archery, Muzzleloading, Shotgun. This is a cool program open to Scouts aged 14 and older who are interested in obtaining shooting sorts merit...

    Coloured Smoke

Does any one out there have any good ideas on how to produce coloured smoke along with a decent report (loud boom)? We are trying to make coloured smoke for a flag ceremony colour guard salute using muzzle loading firearms. The white smoke from the powder tends to overwhelm colourents tried so...

    .357 Magnum rifles

The only rifles of this chambering I have been able to find are lever action and are very expensive ($500+). Any information on manufacturers of such arms will be greatly appreciated.
