Does anyone know the barrel diameter and front sight height on a handi rifle chambered in 44 magnum?

I just finished putting my Springifled .45 back together. I bought it used off gunbroker for $325. Added new grips, full length guide rod, stainless barrel bushing, flat checkered mainspring housing, novak sights. Some may like it, some may not, but it's just how I wanted it and it shoots great!!!

price I paid $99.90 for the white dot front and rear sights installed+$25 to mill the front of the slide+$12 shipping back to me. Not a bad deal at all. I paid $140 total. The total on the low mounts would have been $245, and I only gave $320 for the pistol anyway.

Last week I sent my Springfield GI .45 to Novak for new front and rear sights. I got the 3 dot sights and I believe the rear was drop in and they had to mill the front for the new white dot stake sight. I haven't gotten it back yet and I can't wait. I thought about getting the low mount, but...

I recently purchased a used Springfield GI. Which I think has a black parkerized finish. I took it apart and cleaned it the other day and noticed there is a good amount of finish rubbed off the barrel around where is says SA .45 and some near the end. There doesn't appear to be any rust on it...

for my money, there is nothing better than my ruger p89 with the hogue grip. very accurate and 3000 rounds without 1 jam.
