    Report on new Kahr mk9

I ordered the wood grips through the Kahr website. More comfortable for my slightly large hands, they have more circumference than the stock plastic grips. The hight sights are also excellent. I concur that the MK9 (Elite 98) is a great piece.

    P99 Question

Thank you for the replies. Nice site Dr. Lunde, excellent info on the Walther. Guess I'll just shoot it and see what happens! Greg

    P99 Question

I just picked up my new P99, all black, in 40 S&W. On disassembly I noted two things that I wanted to ask some people with a longer experience with the P99 about. I should note it is the Walther pistol, not the S&W or hybrid. First, the guide rod is plastic and almost seems to "bend" when I...

    Charlotte, NC?

Is anyone here a member of the Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club? Just wondering about the good and bad... There is also an outdoor facility in Salisbury N.C., I am thinking of becoming a member there as I work in Salisbury. Anyone have any experiences there? Greg

    Charlotte, NC?

I live NE of Charlotte in the Concord area. There is a shooting range near the airport, just towards Gastonia: Shooters Express. Indoor only. They offer yearly memberships, and can provide some good deals on firearms. Rumor has it the NRA is looking at building a shooting range in Concord...

    Taurus Hex Bullets

They got a nice review in the latest issue of American Handgunner. Excellent expansion and weight retention. They put these rounds on par with the "premier" rounds.

Para Ord's LDA trigger sweeter than the Colt 1911 SA trigger!!

The Para Carry (6.45) does not require any tools to disassemble and field strip. The other models may require a bushing wrench, however I have no experience with those. There is an absolute safety advantage to the double action trigger of the LDA. Despite the lightness of the trigger pull...

    Compact 9mm options

Kahr MK9 Elite I'll put a vote in for the Kahr MK9 Elite. Small package, not quite as light as there polymer model but will safely handle +P and +P+ rounds (I am not sure if these are recommended in the PM9). The stock trigger is just fabulous. The only drawback I can see is the limitation...

    Colt Delta Elite 10mm

In the market for a 10mm. I really like the Glock 29 for its size, but wonder if a full size gun would be easier to control. What do people think about the Colt Delta Elite, it seems I can get a ("barely") used model for somewhere between $600-1200. What is its reputation? BTW, a nice...
