i was wondering this too. mine is loose and after firing a couple mags, the right side almost falls out. anyone know how this ambi safety is secured? is mine broken or loose?

I won't make any CCW purchases based on underwater performance. remember, you can swim and raise the gun out of the water. i doubt anyone here will ever have to fire from the bottom of a pool. interesting, but irrelevant.

an 870 will serve you well, but don't be so quick to slam Saigas. i disagree completely. the option to throw a 10 round mag into a reliable AK shotgun is the best for defense IMO. if you have a tube-fed shotgun for defense, you must keep it loaded at all times (imo, unsafe in a household)...

I have the Benelli Nova and 4 years later w/ thousands of rounds, no problems. quality gun and simple field-stripping w/o any tools. i got mine at dicks for $270 on sale. I can't say anything about the 870 because i've never shot one, but i can tell you that the Nova is a great gun. also...
