problem did not exist before bolt disassembly
problem occurs when aftermarket bolt handle & lift kit is installed
problem still occurs when factory bolt is reinstalled & lift kit is removed.

i don't like the look of the factory hammer so i'd like to change it to a skeleton hammer like the kimbers have.
would i also need to change the sear? anything else need to be changed because of the lock mechanism? which manufacturer is recommended as far as the parts go?

Gun is used for putting holes in paper and hunting.
Should I bother? How is the recoil between the two? Ammo availability? I know I'll end up paying a few hundred out of pocket after the sale but I should have plenty time before hunting season comes back around.
i have a jennings .380 that i bought about 5 years ago and it's sat in a drawer for 4. i'm moving now and don't want to have to worry about packing it so i'd like to get rid of it. should i just disassemble it and send it on its way in different trash recepticles or is there another way?

if all goes to plan, i should be aquiring a kimber ultra carry soon but since i'm a lefty, i'll need the ambi thumb safety. what's the best place to get one and are they simple to replace or will i need to bring it to a gunsmith?
