Those pictures are taken to make the keltec look bigger. Put the keltec in the back and see how it looks. Also, in the picture with the top view, the keltec is angled to make it look wider. Not quite a fair comparison, but who took the pictures???
I'd rather deal with a company that didn't put a lifetime warranty in writing and took good care of you if you have a problem, than a company that offers a lifetime warranty and is a pain to deal with or goes out of business.
By the way - My M&P9c is a great gun.
The S&W web site manual is the same as mine.
I posted the following over at the M&P forum also.
Here are my emails to and from S&W:
Hello,
I just purchased a M&P 9c pistol. One of the reasons I chose it was because of the lifetime warranty I had heard about. The lifetime warranty is...
One reason I recently bought a M&P 9c was the lifetime warranty I read about (many places have said this). The back of of my manual says 1 year. I'm going to e-mail S&W but their web sight is down right now. Does anyone know the story on this?
Most accutate medium load seems to be 27.0 gr. with the 250xtp's. Consistant 3/4"-1" groups @ 60yd. approx 1400fps. with my Ruger SRH 1.5-4 Burris scope. Not bad.
I just bought some lil' gun for full power loads and tite group so that's why I asked about those. I think I'll try some 2400 and tite group. My goal is great accuracy @ around 1300-1400fps for whitetail hunting. Thanks
I noticed that Sierra lists a load for 240g. JHC bullets using Lil'gun down to 19g. @ 1100fps. And 26.2g. @1400fps. Anyone load Lil'gun down that low in a 454? I'm looking for a good powder for around 1300-1400fps. I'm also considering tite group. With 11g. it should give about 1300fps.
I'm sure others will disagree but I'm convinced that the old fashioned beam scales are much more accurate. When trickle weighing with the 5-0-5 you can get repeatable accuracy down to 1 fleck/piece of powder if you are very careful and take your time. I have a electronic scale also and when...
The shots that have done this have all been with a almost completely cold barrel (I've been going for max accuracy). I also use a parallax adj. Nikon Monarch.
I use a lead sled and a steady bench. I don't think it's a trigger pull problem as I'm left handed, and kick is almost nill with the lead sled. My targets have 1" grids and I do line up with them. Thanks for the responses so far..
edit: Maybe I need to be more careful in leveling out the...
I'm relatively new to reloading so I'd like to get some opinions on something I've noticed on occasion. During my load developments for my 300 win mag (Browning A-Bolt with Boss) some of the 3 shot groups have a odd pattern to them. Most groups (9 out of 10) have random spacing. But...
I've got a Browning A-Bolt in 300 win mag. My magazine will not accept OAL's anywhere near what would allow me to get the bullet close to the lands. From doing lots of searching on this and other sites it seems like this is a fairly common problem. The removable magazine itself is large enough...
