    Making shooting sports "fun"?

I have used clay pigeons on the dirt back stop and other polymer targets. People just love to break the clays. Also with the scoped 10/22 I clean up and leave nothing to be cleaned up of the back stop. Shooting at empty ammo boxes is also fun but not the clean up..... The formal shooting...

    My 637 is corroding

why not look for a Kydex holster. You can even make one to fit your application. It is plastic so the trasfer of sweat will not occur as long as the gun is covered by the kydex. I use a IWB Comp-tac holster and wear it every day, I even wear it wile running and I can be soaked and the...

Thoughts: Sell a gun for CCL funds?

So you don't really like the gun and yo do not shot it well. I would sell/trade it for one that does fit you better. cut out ever little expense that you can and stash the cash that you would spend on those for the CCL. I keep all my coins and I have bought a gun with change(after I...

What is a good gun Caliber to start out with?

great advice has been given. .22lr = cheap and easy to learn on. Rent before you buy etc... But since she will be a new shooter she will need to get practice. With practice comes a lot of shooting. So she will also need to look at ammo prices and factor that in. She needs to...

This document deals with automatic rifles only, right?

I would not worry. The WASR-10 is a common over the counter semi-Auto rifle. Thousands of folks have them and you hear nothing about the ATF bustin them.

    Question about .22 stainless/synthetic Marlin 60

I have the 60SSK with the synthetic black stock. I just cleaned it up after a few years of just basic cleaning and took it to the range. I put about 200 down range and my g/f put at least 100 down range. It never jammed or had any miss fires. I was tearing up the targets and so was the...

If you could make a wildcat cartridge ;)

I was at a local gun shop today here in Indiana. They had a funny looking bullet sitting on a shelf. I had to ask..It was a .35rem bullet on a custom reworked case. It was designed to meet the legal rifle cal/size... for deer hunting. The case was bottled necked to fit the .35rem slug. I...
