I might be buying a ruger 10/22 but I wanted to customize it a little. Does anyone know where I can find some pre ban 30 rd mags for a ruger? I live in NY so they have to be pre ban. Ive heard they might be harder to come by so I wanted to make sure I could find them before I bought it. Also anyone know of any good sites for aftermarket parts for rugers? Thanks.

Even if you find some, good luck getting someone to ship them to NY.
Local gun shows might be your best bet.
I've got pre and post 1994 ban Butler Creek "Hot Lips" 25 rounders and its not obvious to me how you'd tell them apart, but then I've never looked at them in minute detail for a date code some where.

Hit the Syracuse show. They sell the mags,hell, they even call them
"pre-ban",but I think we all know the truth about that!!!
