No, the rear sight on the XD-9 SC is pressed into a dovetail slot, no allen screw present. Need to new sight that fits the dovetail properly. I can slide this one out both sides with little or no effort. Scrrem

Doug S Congrads on you purchase. I too recently purchased a 340 and love it. I am not familar with Eezox, but the S&W book does not recommened any cleaners that contain ammonia, which the old Hoppes #9 does. I myself has moved to the Hoppies Elite, which I am told is safe. Good Luck Scrrem
