7mm magnums any one take your pick. 7mm have really good BC for those long shots. tons of bullets for them (not as much as 30 cal) but ive yet to see a bullet that is made in 30 that isnt in 7mm (except FMJ, 7mm FMJ are REALLY hard to come by, but thats not a hunting bullet)
why? i hate that question!
why the hell not is what im thinking.
now how hard would it be to get an ak47 mag that could hold 6.5? i know they have the same case head and the rest of the cartridge is a little like it.
im a big fan of the 6.5 and i think it would be a cool project. and...
i love the remington bulk ammo. they work 99.9% in all of my 22s (savage 64, walther p22, ruger charger 10/22)
and they have an actual hollow point where as the federal has a small dent
keep in mind the new savages including the stevens have switched mag and stock design and aftermarket stocks arent that common yet. i bought a 308 stevens and it had the new stock and then a few months later i bought a savage 110 in 7mm rem and it had the old stock
i like the 7mm rem mag.
i reaload so when i dont need a magnum load you can easily load the magnum down to 7mm/08 levels
now if you have a 7mm/08 you cant load up to remington magnum levels.
but if you dont think you will ever need that power the remington magnum offeres then sure go with...
well i just got a mossberg 590a1 14" AOW
if your looking for a shotgun i am very impressed with the 590a1 it is a really solid weapon, the only plastic parts are the grips everything else is metal, it is pretty heavy because it has a heavy barrel. it holds 4+1 3" shells or 5+1 2 3/4" shells...
i usually dont take the chance. there is plenty of good once fired brass at the range theres no sense useing even semi-questionable when you dont need to. brass is cheap a new gun isnt
well key to responsible and safe gun regulations is to prevent the guns from getting into the wrong hands, NOT takeing away guns from those who are good honest people.
I would also like to see some sort of thing set up for people that were convicted of non-violent crimes that in the current...
my biggist fear is someone im responsible for keeping safe getting hurt by one of my guns or a gun they buy because i ntroduce them to guns. like when you take a new person shooting, i do a good job of training them but once they go home i cant do anything about their safety except to arm them...
the ONLY ammo mine wont shoot is the federal 50 round boxes that are black.grey/blue and have just a regular lead bullet that isnt coated.
i motsly shoot the remington "gold" HP that comes in the bulk pack of 550 i havent tried the federal copper bulk pack, ive been very happy with the...
im a huge fan of the 7mms either remington mag or WSM
they usually have the best BC, now the 6.5s are good and have less kick so they might be better for target work. but for a great target caliber as well as a great hunting cal nothing beats the 7mm IMO
