Natchez has them for a good price, around 20 for standard magazines. http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentId=productSearch&searchItem=glock%20magazine As you can imagine, some of them are out of stock due to current demand.
I figured I would check out this show again this year. Even though the show's name focuses on, well, Militaria, the show also offers modern guns and accessories and seems to have some new and unique vendors when I've gone to it. Here's their site if you're interested: http://www.showmasters.us/...
Hi all,
I'm wondering if 124 grain loads are subsonic in this handgun. I realize that they vary slightly between each round and loading, but speeds should be relatively close.
The 26 barrel is 3.46". 115 grain loads should be supersonic, and 147 grain rounds should be subsonic, but how...
Yeah, I figured those two substances would be a little more harsh, but I wasn't planning on letting them sit for very long. Good info though.
Mineral oil is interesting. Does it leave a residue? Does it get rid of lead and copper?
Like most here, I've got a can of CLP and a handful of bore brushes and cleaning patches. But the stuff doesn't smell too great, and it's probably not the best stuff to breathe in.
I've seen some speak highly of Mobil V-Twin 20/50, as a long term gun oil, and that got me thinking about...
Yeah, sometimes the bigger shows are better bets.
Was the Hitler Youth present like they were at the Nation's Gun Show? :D

I would like to hear your experiences with different barrel lengths on 7.62x39 platforms, specifically 16" vs 20." Some say the longer barrel tends to cause more vibration leading to lesser accuracy, while others say they get better results with a longer barrel and sight radius.
Also, I'm...
One more thing, I'm not sure which loads tend to be more accurate out of the Saiga, .223 or 5.56. (the answer is probably 5.56 but I'd be happy to hear others' results)
And does anyone have any long-distance range results, as far as different weights? Thanks.
Just wanted to hear your opinions on which weights/loads perform well for a barrel with a 1:9 twist. The general consensus seems to be that you can use "up to" 69 grains with a 1:9 barrel, but does anyone have experience at over 100yd ranges where heavier rounds out a 1:9 might begin to keyhole...
I like your thinking, but carbon fiber would be too expensive and fiberglass material would be hard to fit. And I don't know if the latter would offer any protection to the mag underneath. I'm thinking some kind of liquid coating that dries and can be layered on for uniform strength.
Yeah, I know it's fine for the most part. It's just a little more peace of mind. I don't care that much about aesthetics, so with that in mind, is there anything i can layer on to the mags?
Thanks for the replies. I've heard good things about Magpul and pmags but I don't have an AR at the moment. I have a few Surefire mags and I am satisfied with those, but I just wanted to figure out a way to make my Master Molder mags, which are thinner, stronger. All ideas are welcome.
