    Ruger Redhawk 4" night sights???

Well I have answered my own questions. I took a gamble and bought a front tritium xs sight for Ruger Alaskan .454. I had a gunsmith drill and put it on the gun. It fit perfect I was concerned about the height difference of the new sight and the factory sight. I just shoot it and with a few...

    Ruger Redhawk 4" night sights???

Does anybody know where I can get night sights for a Ruger Redhawk 4"? I do a lot of backpacking in grizzly country and often sleep out in the open. I would like to be able to see my sights in the dark/moon light. Am I going to have to go to a gunsmith to get the sights?

    cast bullet weight?

Sorry! I did 5 rounds with 20gr of H110. I really think that factory Winchester 240GR SP have a worse recoil than 20gr of H110.

    cast bullet weight?

I receintly ordered some hard cast 320 gr bullets for my 44 mag. When I was setting up my scale I decided to see if they were + or - 320 gr. Well everyone weighed in at 336 gr. They are lubed and have a gas check on them but I don't see that adding 16 grs. Now the question, do I reload for a 320...

Thanks for the info. That has been at the back of my mind, just buy a new gun instead of having to worry about those things. Guess I will look into buying a new gun.

    Rechambering????

I am wanting to get a .300 wsm or a .300 win mag, but don't want to fork out the $ for a new gun. I have a Savage 110 .30-06 that I do not use and a Howa 1500 .243 with a fluted bull barrel. I was thinking that the .243 could be rehcambered to the .300 wsm since they are both short actions. Or...

44 mag load IMR 7625 info.

Does anybody have any info. on IMR 7625 for a 44 mag. I reloaded some today based on IMR's data. I used 10gr. of 7625 with a 180 xtp. I wanted something for plinking and it worked great, hardly any recoil. I was amazed how clean this powder is, I didn't have to clean the gun after 6 shots. When...

    Need help with next purchase!!!

I have the opportunity to purchase a new revolver. I can't decide between these two Ruger Alaskan or the Redhawk 4 inch. I will be using it for backpacking and back up in bear country. I am just concerned with the accuracy with the snubnose of the alaskan. Any thoughts on this?

Webley Mk. IV - .445 Webley to .45 Colt?

I just reloaded some shells. My dad had a big box of 255gr lswc. I only have IMR SR7625, I like the powder in my .40. I loaded the 45ar with 6.2 grs for the 255lswc. I shot it and it seemed a little hotter than the old 235gr factory bullets that my dad left with the gun. I might load the next...

Webley Mk. IV - .445 Webley to .45 Colt?

I have just inherited a webley mark VI and don't know if is early or late model. The cylindar has been shaved for moon clips. It doesn't show a patened year or make year. What about shooting .45 auto rim out of it? From what I have read it sounds like I will just have to keep it stored up and...
